Anyway, a couple of updates -
Preservation is completely picture-locked! Took forever, but there ya go. All the visual effects shots are done and cut into the movie and now I just need to finish sound editing and color correction. It's time consuming, and (as with everything else with the movie) I have to work it in between jobs that I'm getting paid for. But I'm pushing forward on that as hard as I can because I just want it finished and off my computer!
In other recent news, we just finished another 5 day film. This year we made a film called 'The Sidewinder' about a confrontation between a super-villain named Sidewinder and her arch nemesis, Northstar. It was a crazy shoot (especially since it was snowing and it was only October!), but we got through it. I think it came out alright for the amount of time we had to work on it. I'm still jones-ing to do a superhero flick that I have more time to plan and execute. I would have like the visual effects in the film to not suck, but they are what they are. Hopefully as I learn more, they will get better in the future.

I hope to try to blog a little more regularly - we'll see if I can make that happen or not.
